Why did I create this page and why do I think the project worth to be shared on the internet?

Actually, answering that is quite easy.

I am 32 years old, picked up biking about a year ago, work in a bank and have absolutely no technical background. Still I want to try to build or better modify a bike myself. I really don't like having to ask people all the time to help with this or that concerning the bike. I want to learn to do it myself. Cause someday I want to make a bigger trip where I should be able to maintain my bike alone. I just don't have the time to grow into it like other people. That would take years. So what better way is there to learn about bikes than building one yourself. Hopefully I won't fail.
